Welcome to Randerson Ridge Elementary
Randerson Ridge is an elementary school with an enrolment of approximately 480 students Kindergarten to grade 7 students in 20 divisions for the 2024-25 school year. The staff of Randerson create an educational climate that encourages each child to grow academically, physically and socially to the best of their ability.
Randerson Ridge’s mascot is the raven. The raven is renowned for its problem-solving abilities, imitation, playful behaviour and insight. Among indigenous cultures they have been revered as spiritual figures.
Derek Snowden is the principal of our school, Megan Barritt-Flatt is vice-principal, and Stacey Milne is the school secretary.
Our School hours are as follow:
- Monday-Friday- 8:30 am- 2:13 pm. Supervision begins at 8:15 prior to the start of day and finishes at 2:25 pm.
- Little recess is 10:15am-10:30 am. Big recess is 11:45 am- 12:20 pm.
Regular communication from the principal comes 2-3 times per week. Please let us know if you have difficulty receiving the communication. Individual teachers have their own communication system.
PAC meetings are regularly held the 2nd Monday of the month at 6pm.
